We Accept Most Insurances

Not all chiropractors accept health insurance plans. Visiting a chiropractor that accepts insurance can make it easier and more affordable to access the care you need. This convenience allows you to focus on your health and recovery, without worrying about the financial burden often associated with healthcare.

Traditional Chiropractic Adjustments

Chiropractic care has a main goal of getting joints moving better, which leads to reduced pain, less muscle tension, more flexibility, reduced inflammation and more. Traditional chiropractic uses the hands to adjust the body, but there are other ways to achieve the same goal. Some patients may only receive hands-on adjustments (the popping and cracking type), others may benefit from only instrument adjusting and some may get a mix & match, but the goal is the same for all methods.

Gentle Chiropractic Instrument Adjustments

Strong traditional chiropractic adjustments are not for everyone. The best clinics also offer gentle and light force adjustment options for those who need a softer touch. These gentle techniques are perfect for people who may be more sensitive, like seniors, children, pregnant women, those recovering from an injury, or someone that has health risks that shouldn’t receive a traditional adjustment.

Arthrostim instrument adjustments can help improve mobility and relieve pain, all while being comfortable and safe. This approach allows everyone to enjoy the benefits of chiropractic care, no matter their age or condition. So, if you’re looking for a chiropractor who understands your needs and offers a gentle, personalized touch, light force adjustment options may be just what you need to feel better and live a healthier, happier life.

Whole Body & Extremity Adjustments

The focus of chiropractic is the spine, but we know that the knee bone is connected to the hip bone, and the hip bone is connected to the backbone. This incredible system of bones, joints, and muscles works together to keep us moving.

The best chiropractors work on more than just your spine – it’s about caring for your whole body. By working on your back and your feet, shoulders, elbows, and other joints, chiropractors can help you feel your best from head to toe.

This whole-body approach can improve your balance, flexibility, and overall well-being. When your body is aligned properly, you’ll find it easier to move, exercise, and enjoy life without pain. So, whether you’re dealing with aches in your shoulders, knees, or anywhere in between, chiropractic care can make a big difference in how you feel every day.

Most insurance plans do not require a referral and you are free to come in and use your benefits. Some HMO insurances do require a referral, which is generally easy to get and we can help you obtain them.

Medicare does cover chiropractic treatments but only adjustments to the spine. Any chiropractic adjustment to an extremity like your shoulder, foot, knee, etc. is not covered by Medicare, but you can still receive care to that area if your doctor feels it’s necessary. Your doctor must also do an exam on your first visit and may request x-rays, which are not covered by Medicare. Please speak to our office for more information about Medicare and chiropractic.

Chiropractors typically help with musculoskeletal (muscle and bone) injuries. There are many injuries that you can see a chiropractor for including: whiplash, low back pain, neck pain, midback pain, headaches, shoulder pain, tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, disc injuries, strains and sprains, wrist and hand pain, knee and hip pain, and many more.

We are in-network with many plans including:

  • Aetna
  • Anthem
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Cigna
  • First Choice Health
  • Harrison Trust
  • HealthNet
  • Medicare
  • Moda
  • Pacific Source (non-OHP plans)
  • Providence
  • Regence Blue Cross

We are out-of-network with United Healthcare and Oregon Health Plan, but you may still have chiropractic coverage. If you have questions about your insurance coverage, we are happy to verify your benefits and discuss your options.

Chiropractic is considered safe for most people including children and the elderly and different techniques may be used to treat different age groups. Often, children seek chiropractic care because of an injury from playing or sports, whereas, older adults are often dealing with chronic pain and arthritic pain. Your chiropractor will be able to determine if chiropractic care is the right choice for you or your loved one.

We use chiropractic and rehab exercises for most of our patients. Our chiropractic techniques include manual or hands-on adjustments and/or instrument adjustments and our rehab includes in-clinic instruction with additional home exercises. You and your doctor will discuss the best options for your particular needs.
The clicky thing is an instrument adjusting device that provides a precise, gentle adjustment. The instrument adjustment is ideal for those patients who are just too acute, like those after a car accident, those who have conditions that prevent traditional adjusting or those who are apprehensive.

Traditionally, chiropractic adjustments are performed with the doctor placing her hands on your body in a particular position to adjust the joint, which often results in a satisfying “crack” or “pop.” Traditional adjustments and instrument adjustments have similar success, but the instrument technique may take slightly longer to achieve.
