Our Wellness Massage services are designed for general relaxation. They are paid for by the client and do not go through insurance. Because we are a medical clinic, space is limited for Wellness Massages in order for our patients dealing with injuries and chronic conditions receive the care that they need.
A Therapeutic Massage is prescribed by your chiropractor and often covered by insurance plans. A Therapeutic Massage is tailored to your individual needs, our skilled therapists use a variety of methods, from gentle strokes to deep tissue manipulation, to help ease pain and promote healing.
Massage treatments compliment chiropractic care very well in the event of an injury. If you were in an auto or work accident many times your massage services are covered the same way your chiropractic care is also covered. If you are billing insurance, you will need a prescription to prove medical necessity. Our chiropractors can prescribe massage based on your condition or injury.
Original Medicare does not cover massage. Some MedAdvantage plans include a massage benefit, but you will need to verify your benefits with our clinic to be sure.
Most patients benefit from an adjustment after a massage since their muscles are less tense and more receptive to the adjustment. Ultimately, it doesn’t entirely matter. It’s a matter of schedule and preference.
We do NOT accept tips or gratuity at Element Chiropractic. Please don’t feel guilty about not leaving tips. It’s honestly okay. The best tip you can give us ist to tell your friends or family about our clinic!
